This Account & Data Deletion page explains how users of Lukusa Elite, operated by Dieu Membu Lukusa, trading as D.M. Lukusa ("D.M. Lukusa", "we", "us", or "our"), may request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

This page should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. YOUR RIGHT TO REQUEST DELETION

Lukusa Elite users may request deletion of their account and personal data associated with that account, subject to information that we are permitted or required to retain under applicable law.

A deletion request may include personal information and app data associated with your Lukusa Elite account.

2. DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT FROM LUKUSA ELITE

Where account deletion functionality is available within the application, users may initiate deletion through the relevant account or data-management settings.

The exact menu wording may vary as Lukusa Elite is updated.

Where available, look for an option such as:

Profile → Data Management → Delete Account

Follow the instructions displayed in the application.

If the in-app deletion function is unavailable or you cannot access your account, you may submit a deletion request using the method described below.

3. REQUEST DELETION BY EMAIL

You may request account deletion by contacting:

Use a subject such as:

Lukusa Elite — Account Deletion Request

Where possible, send the request from the email address associated with your Lukusa Elite account.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card information or other unnecessary sensitive information.

4. IDENTITY VERIFICATION

Before processing certain deletion requests, we may take reasonable steps to verify that the person making the request is the account holder or is otherwise authorized to make the request.

Verification helps prevent unauthorized deletion of another person's account or personal information.

We will seek only information reasonably necessary for verification.

5. DATA THAT MAY BE DELETED

Depending on the features you have used and the data associated with your account, deletion may include eligible information such as:

account profile information;
display name;
email-related account information;
fitness profile information;
workout-related records;
nutrition-related records;
meal information;
fasting records;
habit-tracking information;
progress information;
body measurements;
weight records;
personal records;
wellness information entered into the application;
AI feature history where stored and associated with your account;
uploaded or stored progress information;
Before & After information where stored;
app preferences; and
other personal information associated with the account.

The exact information stored may depend on the version of Lukusa Elite and the features you have used.

6. DATA STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

Some information may be stored locally on your device rather than in our remote systems.

Deleting your Lukusa Elite account may not automatically remove every locally stored file, cached item or application preference from the device.

Depending on the operating system and app implementation, uninstalling Lukusa Elite or clearing application data may remove additional locally stored information.

7. DATA THAT MAY NEED TO BE RETAINED

Deletion does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record in every circumstance.

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or legally permitted for purposes such as:

complying with legal obligations;
resolving disputes;
preventing fraud or abuse;
enforcing applicable agreements;
maintaining security;
establishing or defending legal claims;
financial or accounting requirements; or
maintaining records required by law.

Where information must be retained, we will aim to limit retention to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

8. BACKUPS

Deleted information may remain temporarily in secure backup systems until those backups are overwritten or deleted according to applicable retention processes.

Backup information is not intended to be restored for ordinary use after an account has been deleted except where necessary for legitimate disaster recovery, security or legal purposes.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Lukusa Elite may use third-party technology providers to operate certain functionality.

Depending on the final production configuration, these may include services supporting areas such as:

authentication;
database functionality;
AI functionality;
subscription management;
app-store purchases;
infrastructure; and
analytics or operational services where enabled.

Deleting your Lukusa Elite account will be handled according to our applicable systems and relationships with those providers.

Some third parties may independently retain information where required by their own legal obligations or where they act independently in relation to a transaction.

10. APPLE AND GOOGLE PURCHASE RECORDS

Deleting a Lukusa Elite account does not mean that Apple or Google will delete transaction records associated with your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

Those records are controlled by the applicable platform and may be retained according to its policies and legal obligations.

For information concerning your Apple or Google account data, use the privacy and account-management tools provided by the applicable platform.

11. REVENUECAT SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

Lukusa Elite may use RevenueCat to help determine subscription entitlement status.

Deletion of your Lukusa Elite account does not necessarily delete transaction records maintained by Apple, Google or other entities involved in processing or documenting a purchase.

Subscription-related information may also need to be retained where required for legitimate transaction, fraud-prevention, accounting, legal or operational purposes.

12. ACCOUNT DELETION DOES NOT CANCEL A SUBSCRIPTION

This is important:

Deleting your Lukusa Elite account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

If you have an active Lukusa Elite subscription and do not want it to renew, cancel the subscription separately through the app store where you purchased it.

You should normally:

Cancel the subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play, if applicable; and
Delete your Lukusa Elite account separately.

13. DELETING THE APP IS NOT ACCOUNT DELETION

Simply uninstalling Lukusa Elite from your phone does not necessarily delete your Lukusa Elite account or remotely stored personal data.

Use the in-app deletion functionality where available or submit a deletion request to us.

14. DELETION OF SPECIFIC DATA

Where supported and required by applicable law, you may be able to request deletion of certain personal information without requesting deletion of your entire account.

Explain what information you would like deleted.

We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

15. EFFECT OF ACCOUNT DELETION

Account deletion may permanently remove your ability to access information associated with the deleted account.

Depending on the information stored, this may include:

progress history;
workout records;
nutrition information;
fasting history;
habits;
achievements;
measurements;
AI-related history;
preferences; and
other account-associated information.

Deleted information may not be recoverable.

Users should therefore consider whether they need to retain any information before requesting permanent deletion.

16. ELITE ACCESS AFTER ACCOUNT DELETION

Deleting an account may affect the application's ability to associate certain functionality with that account.

However, app-store purchases and account deletion are separate systems.

If you reinstall Lukusa Elite after deleting an account, the ability to restore an eligible purchase may depend on:

the applicable store account;
the original transaction;
the current subscription status;
RevenueCat entitlement recognition; and
the application's current account architecture.

Deletion of personal data does not create a new right to a refund.

17. AI DATA

Where AI functionality processes information you submit, treatment of that information depends on how the applicable feature and service provider are configured.

Account deletion will apply to personal information controlled by D.M. Lukusa according to our applicable deletion processes.

Our Privacy Policy provides additional information concerning AI-related processing.

18. CHILDREN'S DATA

Lukusa Elite is not intended to encourage children below the minimum permitted age to independently create accounts where parental authorization or other legal requirements apply.

If a parent or legal guardian believes that a child has provided personal information improperly, they may contact:

We will review the request and take appropriate action consistent with applicable requirements.

19. PROCESSING DELETION REQUESTS

We aim to process valid deletion requests within a reasonable period and within any timeframe required by applicable privacy law.

The time required may depend on factors including:

identity verification;
the nature of the request;
systems containing relevant information;
legal retention requirements; and
applicable jurisdiction.

Where applicable law establishes a specific response period, we will seek to comply with that requirement.

20. INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY RIGHTS

Privacy and deletion rights differ between jurisdictions.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning:

deletion;
access;
correction;
restriction;
objection;
portability;
withdrawal of consent; or
complaints to a competent privacy authority.

Nothing on this page is intended to restrict privacy rights that cannot legally be waived.

21. WEBSITE DATA

Requests concerning personal information collected through dmlukusa.com, such as information submitted through a contact form, may also be sent to:

Specify that your request relates to website data so that we can identify the relevant information.

22. PAYHIP AND OTHER EXTERNAL ACCOUNTS

Purchasing a D.M. Lukusa digital product through Payhip or another external platform does not necessarily create a Lukusa Elite account.

Deletion of a Lukusa Elite account therefore does not automatically delete an independent account or transaction information held by Payhip or another third-party platform.

Requests relating directly to those platforms may need to be made through their respective privacy or account-management processes.

23. AMAZON AND OTHER AFFILIATE MERCHANTS

Clicking an affiliate link or purchasing a product from Amazon or another third-party merchant does not create a Lukusa Elite transaction record for that merchant purchase.

D.M. Lukusa cannot delete personal information independently controlled by Amazon or another merchant.

Requests concerning such information should be directed to the applicable third party.

24. CHANGES TO THIS PAGE

We may update this Account & Data Deletion information as Lukusa Elite's account system, storage architecture, third-party services or legal requirements change.

The Last Updated date at the top will identify the latest revision.
